Speaking to the Past // Inside the John Carter Brown Library

The John Carter Brown Library (JCB) at Brown University is home to one of the world’s largest collections on the early history of the Americas. For the past 150 years, it’s been building up its repository of rare books, manuscripts, maps, imprints, drawings, and more. Through the digitization of its extensive holdings and increased collaborations on and off-campus, the JCB is providing researchers, faculty, and students with an unparalleled look back in time.
